About

Advanced SSH & Web Terminal is an app that gives SSH and browser-based terminal access to a Home Assistant instance. It runs an OpenSSH server and a web terminal that opens as its own page in the Home Assistant sidebar. The SSH defaults limit login to the configured user, use only known secure ciphers, and restrict login attempts, with a compatibility mode for older clients. It also supports Mosh, optional SFTP, a configurable username, and keeps shell history and SSH client settings between restarts. The app can reach USB, serial and GPIO hardware, uses the host network, and can control Docker and the Supervisor, so it carries broad system access. It requires Home Assistant OS and runs on aarch64 and amd64.
