About

GoodWe SEMS API is a Marketplace integration that pulls solar inverter, battery and energy data from the GoodWe SEMS+ cloud. It discovers the power stations on an account and adds sensors for inverter status, power, temperature, energy counters, PV strings and grid measurements, plus battery entities when the API reports battery devices. An Inverter Control switch can pause and resume energy production through the inverter's downtime function, and it needs an account with remote-control permission. GoodWe EV chargers reported by SEMS+ appear as separate devices with sensors, switches, numbers and a charge mode selector, such as session energy, plug lock and grid compliance limit. Polling runs every 60 seconds by default, and the interval can be changed in the options within a range of 60 to 3600 seconds. Setup is done in the UI with the SEMS account login, and missing live values are left unknown rather than replaced with zero.

Integration for Home Assistant that retrieves PV data from the GoodWe SEMS and SEMS+ APIs.
The integration uses the SEMS+ Web API for station and device discovery, live telemetry, and energy counters. The legacy monitor endpoint is not used in the live data path. Legacy authentication and control remain compatibility fallbacks for accounts and devices that need them. See the architecture plan for the data flow and follow-up work for known coverage gaps.
