About

GoodWe Inverter is an experimental integration for GoodWe solar inverters that communicates with them locally. It goes beyond the built-in Home Assistant integration with EMS modes, including eco charge and eco discharge, plus network settings such as port, scan interval, retry attempts and request timeout. It adds buttons to synchronize the inverter clock and to start or stop the inverter, along with number inputs for depth of discharge, battery SoC protection, eco mode, grid export limit and fast charging. Selects cover EMS mode and inverter operation mode, and switches cover export limit, fast charging, load control, backup supply and depth of discharge holding. Services for reading and writing inverter configuration parameters are also included, and sensors are provided too. The README describes it as meant for users with specific needs and early adopters, to be used at own risk, and it is set up in the UI.
