About
Samsung Wireless Audio is an integration that adds Samsung Multiroom speakers and soundbars to Home Assistant as media players. It communicates with the speakers locally and can find them on the network by itself, or a speaker can be added by entering its host and port. Playback controls cover play, pause, next and previous, volume and mute, along with source and sound mode (equalizer) selection. It also shows information and media art for what is currently playing, and it can browse TuneIn favorites stored on the speaker. Speakers can be grouped and ungrouped, and the integration accepts a URL to a supported audio stream, which allows text-to-speech and use with Music Assistant. Setup is done in the UI, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
