About
Marstek Modbus Suite is a custom integration that reads and controls Marstek Venus batteries over local Modbus TCP. It supports the Venus A, D, E v1/v2 and E v3, and works without a Marstek account, cloud or MQTT broker. It adds sensors, switches, numbers, selects, buttons and binary sensors, covering charge and discharge power, work and forced mode, backup and RS485 switches, and six schedules. The integration also adds its own sidebar panel with overview, cell, pack, control and system views, and needs no custom cards. Schedules that overlap on a shared day are refused, and polling intervals and the wait between Modbus requests can be changed in the options. It is set up in the UI by entering the IP address, port, unit ID and device version.

Actions
- Set Wi-Fi credentialsWrites the Wi-Fi network name and password to the communication module of a Venus D, Venus A or Venus E v3. Advanced: needs Options > DEV registers > Show DEV registers. The firmware stores the credentials in an EEPROM area that overlaps another setting (a firmware bug), so a wrong or aborted write can leave the module with wrong credentials. Use it only when the battery is reachable another way (the app, a cable) to correct it. The password is never read back and never logged.Fields: Battery, SSID, Password
