About
Swisscom Internetbox is an integration that connects Home Assistant to a Swisscom InternetBox router over the local network. It creates device trackers for devices on the local network, so presence can be followed through the router. It also adds sensors for the router itself, grouped under a single device, including current download and upload speed. The speed values are derived from the WAN byte counters, so they stay unknown until two polls have run, and they are reported in bytes per second with the unit changeable per entity. Setup takes place in the UI with the router host, a password and SSL choices, and an option sets how many seconds a device counts as home. Diagnostics can be downloaded for bug reports, with identifying data redacted.
