About

Fronius Modbus reads data from a Fronius Gen24 inverter over a local Modbus TCP connection. It also covers connected smart meters and battery storage, adding sensors, selects and numbers to Home Assistant. The selects and numbers relate to battery storage controls, including storage control modes, and the readme notes that the mode should be changed before the controls for that mode are activated. Setup happens in the UI, where the inverter address, port and scan interval are entered along with the inverter and meter unit settings. Modbus has to be enabled on the inverter beforehand, and the integration is installed through the Marketplace.
