About
Fronius Wattpilot is a custom integration for controlling Fronius Wattpilot wallbox chargers for electric vehicles. It talks to the charger over the local network and can also connect through the cloud, and it is set up in the UI. It adds sensors for charger status, along with buttons, switches, numbers, selects, binary sensors and update entities. Charging can be started and stopped, the charging mode changed, and different charging behaviours configured. A service call sets the next trip timing, and chargers can be disconnected and reconnected by hand. Options cover a timeout for the connection, logging of all property changes, and a switch for the go-e Cloud API. The project is built on an unofficial Python module and is described as early development, so breaking changes are possible.

- log value changes for properties of the wallbox as warnings (enable/disable via service call)
- can enable/disable e-go cloud charging API (enable/disable via service call) -> this is at your own responsibility - is not clear if fronius/you "pay" in some way for the e-go cloud API and thus are…
