About

Solis Modbus is a HACS integration that connects Solis inverters to Home Assistant over a local Modbus link. It combines several register queries into single calls, which reduces overhead compared with the native Modbus integration. Connection is made either over TCP through a data logging stick or WiFi dongle, or over serial RS485. It provides number, select, sensor, switch and time entities, with separate fast, normal and slow poll intervals and a poll profile setting. Actions cover forcing battery charge or discharge, remote dispatch, programming scheduled dispatch periods, and reading or writing registers. A repair notice appears when the Solis datalogger is unreachable, and setup is done in the UI.
