About
Emporia Vue reads data from the Emporia Vue energy monitor and creates a sensor for each device channel. The channel sensors show average usage over each minute, and data is pulled from the Emporia cloud API through the PyEmVue module. Options cover sensors for energy today, energy this month and minute average power, plus a setting to invert values for solar circuits. It also provides number, sensor and switch entities, including a charger current limit, a status sensor and an action that sets the charging current for a charger. Two diagnostic sensors track cloud reliability: one counts API retries and the other records update latency in milliseconds. Sign-in works with email and password, Google or Apple accounts, or manually supplied tokens, and the integration is added as a custom repository in the Marketplace and set up in the UI.
