About

Roomba (Rest980) is an integration that connects iRobot Roomba vacuums to Home Assistant through a rest980 server. It works locally and adds a vacuum device with buttons, cameras, selects and sensors, instead of relying on YAML configuration and per-room helpers. Home Assistant can discover the robot on the local network and offer to add it, and setup runs in the interface with the rest980 server URL. iRobot account credentials are optional and only used when cloud features are enabled, which bring in rooms, favorites and a map image. Rooms can be set to no cleaning, one pass or two passes before starting a clean from the vacuum, and an option controls whether keep-out, clean and observed zones appear on the map. Braava Jet support is maintained by the community.
