About

MELCloud Home is an integration that connects Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners and heat pumps to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. Air conditioners get climate control for power, temperature, modes, fan speeds and vane directions, plus room temperature, WiFi signal and energy sensors. Heat pumps get climate control for zone 1 and zone 2, a water heater entity for the hot water tank, and a system power switch. Cooling mode and energy monitoring on heat pumps depend on what the device reports. Changes made with the remote control, the MELCloud Home app or a schedule show up within seconds through a push connection, and regular polling takes over if that connection drops. Setup is done in the UI with the MELCloud Home email and password, and devices are discovered automatically.
