About

Proxmox VE is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Proxmox VE server over the local network. It adds binary sensors for backup status, node or guest status, and storage state such as active, enabled and shared. Sensors cover CPU, disk and memory usage, network input and output, uptime, status and backup duration. Buttons start, stop, pause, resume, suspend, reset and shut down guests, and can create a snapshot, with start, stop and suspend actions for all guests at once. An update entity reports software updates. Setup happens in the UI with either a password or an API token, and new devices appear on their own while removed ones are cleaned up.
