About
Tesla Powerwall is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Tesla Powerwall home battery over the local network. It adds binary sensors for items such as grid status, grid services and the connection to Tesla. Sensors cover battery capacity, remaining charge, backup reserve, power, voltage, current and frequency, plus import and export readings for the battery and the busway. A switch controls off-grid operation. Home Assistant can find the Powerwall on the network and offer to add it, and setup in the interface asks for the IP address and password.
