About

Tesla Custom Integration connects Home Assistant to the Tesla cloud for vehicles and energy sites. It is a fork of the earlier core Tesla integration, which was removed because of Tesla login problems. For vehicles it provides presence tracking, sensors such as charger state and temperature, and controls like climate, locks, covers, buttons, seat heater selects and sentry mode switches. Energy sites get sensors for solar, grid and load power plus selects for grid charging, export rule and operation mode. Two actions let automations run an API command and change the polling interval, and options cover forcing cars awake at startup, polling time, and syncing data from TeslaMate over MQTT. Login uses a refresh token made by a third-party app, and most vehicles also need a Fleet API proxy for commands.
