About
Flightradar24 is a Home Assistant integration that tracks flights over a chosen area and at selected airports. It reports how many aircraft are in the monitored area and which ones entered or exited, within a radius set around a latitude and longitude. Specific flights can be followed anywhere in the world by adding them through text inputs, and tracked flights can appear as device trackers. Airport sensors report arrivals, departures, on time and delayed counts, cancellations and average delay, and a switch covers the most tracked flights list. Options include altitude limits, automatic cleanup of landed flights, and an optional username and password. It relies on the vendor's cloud, which may throttle short update intervals, and it is configured in the UI.
