Volvo for Home Assistant (built-in integration)

About

Volvo is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Volvo vehicle through the vendor's cloud. It adds binary sensors for items such as doors, brake lights, coolant level and engine status, plus sensors for battery charge level, charging connection status, trip averages and car connection. Buttons can start and stop climatization and the engine, flash the lights, honk, and set the lock reduced guard. A lock entity and a location entity cover the vehicle's lock state and position. An action retrieves the URL of vehicle-specific images. Setup happens in the UI, using an API key from the Volvo developers site and the vehicle's identification number, with sign-in through the vendor's own page.
