About

BYD Vehicle is an integration that connects BYD vehicles to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors for battery level, range, odometer, speed, cabin temperature and tire pressure, plus binary sensors for doors, windows, trunk, charging and lock state. Controls include a lock, a climate entity, seat heating and ventilation selects, and switches for battery heat, A/C and steering wheel heating. Buttons can flash the lights, find the car, open or close the windows and trunk, and start charging. Actions fetch telemetry, GPS, climate and charging data on demand and save a smart-charging schedule to the vehicle. Data is polled from the cloud, and the poll intervals are exposed as number entities that automations can adjust. Setup is done in the UI, with an optional MQTT push update setting.
