About

NETGEAR is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to Netgear routers and related network devices locally. It adds buttons, presence tracking, sensors, switches and update entities for the device. Sensors cover items such as access point MAC, average ping, CPU utilization, downlink bandwidth and download totals for different periods. Switches control features like the 2.4GHz and 5GHz guest Wi-Fi, access control, parental control, quality of service, Smart connect and the traffic meter. An option sets how many seconds a device is still considered home after it was last seen. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network, and setup is done in the UI with host, username and password.
