About

MikroTik is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to MikroTik routers over the local network. It tracks connected devices as presence, with options for ARP ping, DHCP lease scanning and a configurable time to keep a device marked as home. Sensors cover CPU usage, CPU temperature, disk usage, memory usage and PoE output consumption. Switches control Ethernet and WLAN, a select handles PoE output, and buttons trigger a backup or a shutdown. Update entities report RouterOS and RouterBOARD firmware. Setup happens in the UI with host, port, username and password, plus an SSL certificate check, and new or removed devices are handled automatically.
