About
Jellyfin is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Jellyfin media server over the local network. It adds media player, remote and sensor entities, and one sensor reports the active clients connected to the server. An action starts playing chosen media in shuffled order and replaces the current play queue. Setup runs in the UI and asks for the server URL, a username and a password. An option lets the audio codec be chosen, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
