About

Jellyfin NAS is a Home Assistant app that runs the Jellyfin media server for personal video, music, live TV and photo libraries. It streams the libraries to smart TVs, streaming boxes and mobile devices. The app is packaged from the linuxserver.io Docker image and runs on aarch64 and amd64 systems with Home Assistant OS. The web interface opens from the Home Assistant sidebar through ingress, and it can also be reached on port 8096. Local drives and remote SMB shares can be mounted, and optional Docker mods add Intel OpenCL, AMD and custom FFmpeg hardware acceleration. It uses the host network, asks for extra Linux capabilities and can reach USB, serial or GPIO devices.

From the README

I maintain this and other Home Assistant add-ons in my free time: keeping up with upstream changes, HA changes, and testing on real hardware takes a lot of time (and some money). I use around 5-10 of my >110 addons so regularly I install test machines (and purchase some test services such as vpn) that I don't use myself to troubleshoot and improve the addons

If this add-on saves you time or makes your setup easier, I would be very grateful for your support!
