About
Duck DNS is a built-in integration that keeps a Duck DNS subdomain updated from Home Assistant. It connects to the Duck DNS cloud service using an account token and the name of the subdomain to update. It also adds an action that sets the TXT record of the subdomain, which is useful for DNS-based certificate validation. Setup is done in the UI, and nothing extra needs to be installed because it ships with Home Assistant. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration.
