About
APC UPS Daemon is a built-in integration that reads status data from an APC UPS through its daemon. It communicates locally with the daemon, using the host name or IP address and the port it listens on. It adds an online status binary sensor and sensors for details such as battery status, battery voltage, ambient temperature, model, cable type and load apparent power. Setup is done in the UI, and the connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
