About

SwitchBot-Mqtt is an app that connects SwitchBot devices to Home Assistant through MQTT. It sends device information to the MQTT integration so the devices can be operated from Home Assistant. It needs a separate MQTT broker, and the Mosquitto broker app works with default values because connection details come from the Home Assistant OS Supervisor. Device states can be updated by polling or by webhooks, with webhook reception offered through Ngrok, Cloudflare tunnels, or direct reception. Settings cover the log level, retention of MQTT config and state messages, image fetch retries, and forcing a device type by device ID. It runs on Home Assistant OS on aarch64, amd64 and armv7, and opens its own page in the sidebar.
