About
Frigate Proxy is a Home Assistant app that proxies a separately run Frigate server into the Home Assistant sidebar. It lets Frigate be reached from its own sidebar page without running Frigate as an app, and it does not run Frigate itself. The address of the Frigate server is set in the configuration, written as http or https with host and port. Two further options control whether the host name and the client's real IP address are passed on to the Frigate server, which matters when Frigate sits behind another proxy such as Traefik or Caddy. It needs Home Assistant OS, network access to the Frigate server, and no special permissions, and it is built for several processor architectures.
