About
Frigate (Full Access) is an app that runs a network video recorder with realtime local object detection for IP cameras. It brings object detection to camera video feeds supported by FFmpeg. Frigate talks to Home Assistant through MQTT, so an MQTT setup is a required dependency. Its own page opens in the Home Assistant sidebar. This variant asks for privileged Linux capabilities and full access to the host's hardware, and it can read and control Home Assistant and talk to the Supervisor. It needs Home Assistant OS on amd64 or aarch64, and a config file must be created in the app's config directory.
