About

SSH is an integration that controls and monitors devices by running terminal commands over SSH. It connects locally and supports password or key file authentication, and several devices can be added at once. It creates sensors, binary sensors, texts, selects, numbers, switches, buttons and updates from command output, and one command can feed several sensors. Default command sets for Linux and Windows add sensors such as CPU load, free memory and temperature, and allow shutting down and restarting the device. Commands can use templates, and devices can be turned on by Wake on LAN using the MAC address. Turning a device off is disabled until an option allows it, and a power button can replace the switch. Setup and later command edits are done in the UI, and it needs the Marketplace.

  • Connect to multiple devices at the same time.
  • Generate sensor, binary sensor, text, select, number, switch and update entities.
  • Default commands for Linux and Windows included and available without configuration.
  • Edit all commands and settings from the UI.
  • Get the value of multiple sensors from the output of a single command.
  • Use dynamic sensors to automatically add/remove entities.
  • Render commands and sensor values with templates.
  • Poll sensors manually by calling a service.
  • Include sensor values in commands and update them automatically when executing.
  • Turn on devices by Wake on LAN.
