About
RCT Power is a local integration that connects Home Assistant to RCT Power inverters. It adds sensors for the inverter, covering grid, battery, household consumption, photovoltaic generators and the inverter itself. Setup in the UI asks for the inverter's host name or local address, its port and a name that prefixes the entity names, which helps tell several inverters apart. Afterwards, the options let the user choose which objects are enabled and set separate polling intervals for frequently, infrequently and rarely updated values. The sensors can feed the built-in energy dashboard for grid, solar and home battery, with generator strings A and B set up separately or combined. The readme notes that the entity list is incomplete and some interpretations may be off because documentation is lacking.
