About

SOLARWATT Manager is an integration that connects a SOLARWATT Manager such as FLEX or Rail to Home Assistant. It polls the Manager locally and can also pull KiwiGrid HEMS data from the SOLARWATT Manager Portal when portal login details are entered. It adds sensors for live energy flow, analytics, finance values and diagnostics, plus a button to refresh data, a select for optimization mode and a switch for supported plugs or EV stations. Sensor values carry device and state classes for the Energy Dashboard, and units such as Wh are converted to kWh. Polling intervals for local values, cloud flow, devices and statistics can be set separately, along with a user profile cache duration. Actions can calculate, set or reset offsets for the total statistics sensors. It is set up in the UI, and EnergyManager pro is not supported through the local API.

This custom integration connects a SOLARWATT Manager like FLEX or Rail to Home Assistant and provides local Manager data, optional KiwiGrid HEMS data from the SOLARWATT Manager Portal, analytics, controls, live flow values, and diagnostic sensors.
The minimum supported Home Assistant version is 2024.12.0.
Local polling of SOLARWATT Manager data
