About
Hoymiles is a custom integration for Hoymiles DTUs, HMS-W microinverters and hybrid inverters. It communicates directly with the devices over the local network through the hoymiles-wifi library, so no cloud connection is needed. It adds sensors for values such as AC power, daily energy, grid voltage, grid frequency and temperature, plus a binary sensor for the DTU. Buttons restart, turn off or turn on the inverter, and an experimental button enables performance data mode. Two number entities set a persistent power limit as a percentage and a temporary limit in watts on supported HMS-W devices, and an action sets the BMS mode of a connected battery. Setup is done in the UI with the host, update interval, timeout and an optional pause for cloud uploads.
