About
ebusd Vaillant is a custom integration that connects Vaillant heating and hot water systems to Home Assistant through ebusd and MQTT. It runs locally and is set up in the UI with a device name and the MQTT topic prefix that ebusd publishes to. Entities are discovered as ebusd publishes its topics, so no manual entity configuration is needed. It provides climate controls for heating zones with HVAC mode, temperature control, holiday schedules and a quick veto boost, plus a water heater for hot water operation mode and temperatures. A water pressure sensor is included, and Boost and Away preset modes are available. Options cover default away and quick veto durations, the number of zones, startup discovery of devices, and whether only zones reporting a temperature get climate entities. It needs an eBUS adapter, an ebusd instance and the MQTT integration.
