About
Vaillant vSMART is a custom integration that connects Vaillant heating systems to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It provides climate, water heater, number, select, sensor and switch entities. Sensors cover outdoor temperature, daily boiler usage, and energy figures for gas and electric heating and hot water. A switch controls hot water boost, and a number sets the default duration of a setpoint. Setup happens in the UI and asks for a client ID, client secret, username, password, user prefix and app version, and the README also lists values for MiGo accounts. The integration is installed through the Marketplace, or through HACS on 2026.10 and older.
