About

Enel Grid Integration imports hourly and daily energy consumption data from Enel Italia into Home Assistant. It provides sensors whose data can be used in the Energy Dashboard, and it also tracks monthly cumulative consumption. Login runs through Enel's SAML authentication, and re-authentication is supported if the login runs into problems. Because Enel provides readings with a three-day delay, the hourly figures arrive late. Data is fetched once a day and also right after first installation, through the vendor's cloud. Setup happens in the UI, asking for Enel account credentials, POD and user numbers from the bill, and a price per kWh.
