About
Neakasa Litterbox connects the Neakasa M1 self-cleaning litter box to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. One account entry exposes every litter box bound to it, plus a sub-device for each cat profile registered in the Neakasa app. It adds sensors for last visit, visits today, weight, sand level and status, binary sensors for a full waste bucket and cleaning needs, and switches for auto clean, auto level, child lock and silent mode. Buttons start cleaning or leveling, and a number control handles sand calibration. State arrives in real time over an MQTT push stream, with polling as a fallback, and the polling interval and statistics lookback can be changed in the options. Setup happens in the UI with the app email, password and region, and the same fields serve re-authentication and reconfiguration.

From the README
Home Assistant integration for the Neakasa M1 self-cleaning litter box. Talks to the Neakasa cloud through the neakasa-litterbox-sdk, so it works without LAN-side setup: one config entry per account exposes every litter box bound to it, plus a sub-device per cat profile registered in the Neakasa app.
The integration is cloud push: an MQTT status stream keeps state in real time, with a longer polling cadence as a safety net.
- Multiple litter boxes per account, discovered dynamically.
- Sub-device per cat, linked to its litter box in the device registry.
- Real-time updates via MQTT push, with polling fallback (default 10 min).
- Optimistic UI: switches, the calibration slider and buttons reflect new state immediately; the device confirms via push within seconds.
- Per-region (US / EU / AP) login, reauth and reconfigure flows.
- Translations: English and Brazilian Portuguese.
