About
Omnik Inverter reads solar production data from an Omnik inverter over the local network, with no cloud involved. It adds the inverter as a device in Home Assistant, with current power production, solar production today and total production, temperature, uptime and an alarm code. A Wi-Fi module shows up as a child device that reports signal quality, and an online status is provided as a binary sensor. Data is read from the inverter's web interface, and the setup lets the data source be chosen between JS, JSON, HTML and TCP. The TCP source adds more electrical statistics but lacks Wi-Fi module information. It is set up in the UI, and the minimum time between updates can be changed in the options.
