About

Hive is a custom version of the Home Assistant Hive integration that talks to the vendor's cloud. It replaces the built-in Hive integration, reuses its code, and adds extra sensors for device attributes such as availability, mode, battery level, and current and target temperature. The temperature, state, and boost sensors apply only to heating and hot water. It provides binary sensors, climate, lights, sensors, switches, and water heaters. Fixes and new versions of the underlying Hive library usually arrive here before they reach Home Assistant, and beta releases can be turned on for testing. Setup is done in the UI with a Hive username and password, with a two-factor code when needed, and the scan interval can be changed in the options.
