About
Hive is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to Hive smart home devices through the vendor's cloud. It adds binary sensors, climate controls, lights, sensors, switches and water heaters. Three actions cover boost mode: one turns heating boost on with a set duration and target temperature, one turns it off, and one switches hot water boost on or off for a chosen period. Setup runs in the UI with a username and password, and a two-factor code is requested when the account uses it. The scan interval in seconds can be changed in the options.
