Configuration Flow Example

About

Network Scanner is a Home Assistant integration that finds the devices on a local network and gives each a readable name. It scans one or more user-defined IP ranges, including ranges from different subnets, and runs locally using nmap. A user-supplied mapping of MAC addresses to friendly names and manufacturers lets known devices show up with those details. The device list refreshes on a periodic basis, every 15 minutes by default, and a sensor shows the total number of devices currently identified. Setup is done in the UI or in the YAML configuration file. The results can be shown in a table on a dashboard with a Markdown card or a Flex Table card, listing IP address, MAC address, custom name, hostname and vendor.
