About

Traeger is a Home Assistant integration for Traeger WiFire grills that connects through the vendor's cloud. It adds binary sensors, climate, number, sensor and switch entities, and each platform can be turned on or off in the options. Separate sensors report the grill state, matching the status values in the Traeger app, the heating state, and probe events such as nearing or reaching the target temperature. A cook cycle number tracks the current cook step, and an action sets custom cook steps for a sequence. Setup happens in the UI with a Traeger username and password plus mobile app notify endpoints, which support notifications and live updates. A custom dashboard strategy and card are also provided.
