About
Dynamic Energy Cost turns an electricity price sensor and a power or energy sensor into cost sensors for dynamic tariffs. It adds a real-time cost sensor in currency per hour, plus accumulated cost sensors for 15-minute, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly intervals. A manual reset sensor never resets on its own, which suits tracking a single EV charging session or appliance run. Units for price, power and energy are detected and converted automatically, and the cost sensors appear under the source device. An energy sensor is preferred over a power sensor, since power readings only approximate the cost, and only one consumption sensor can be set per entry. It runs locally, is set up in the UI, and offers services to reset a cost sensor or set it to a chosen value.

From the README
Track your real electricity costs in Home Assistant. Point this integration at a price sensor and a power or energy sensor and it creates cost sensors that follow your actual dynamic tariff — whether that comes from Nord Pool, Amber, Tibber, or any other source.
