About
Senso4s Gas Cylinder Sensor is an integration for the Senso4s propane gas cylinder level sensor. It reads gas level, remaining gas, battery and signal strength locally over Bluetooth advertisements, and adds binary sensors for low gas, errors and calibration needs. On Plus models it also exposes temperature, incline and motion anomaly flags. An Estimated Empty prediction comes from consumption history, which can be read over brief active connections or, in passive-only mode, from percentage changes in advertisements. Actions cover calibrating the scale, refreshing history, writing the cylinder configuration and setting the measurement start date, and the options include a refill step and a recalibration step. Setup is done in the UI, and the device can be discovered automatically.

- History refresh interval (minutes)Maximum time between history refreshes — gas level changes also trigger an immediate refresh
- Gas volume per kg (m³/kg)Vapour volume one kilogram of liquid gas expands to, used by the Energy dashboard. The default 0.536 is propane at 15 °C; butane is about 0.407. Check the reference temperature your supplier bills at.
