About
HomeWhiz is an integration for appliances that work with the HomeWhiz mobile app, from Beko, Grundig, Bauknecht and Arcelik. It lets Home Assistant monitor and control these devices, using local Bluetooth or the HomeWhiz cloud over Wi-Fi depending on the model. It provides binary sensors, climate, number, select, sensor and switch entities, such as door open, programme, temperature, spin, start delay, prewash and extra rinse. Setup runs in the UI, asks for the HomeWhiz username and password, and Home Assistant can discover devices on its own. An option sets how often Bluetooth reconnects, in hours, and a diagnostics download is available for bug reports.
