About

Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) is a Home Assistant integration that pulls electricity account data from the IEC cloud service. It adds sensors and binary sensors, including ones for the access token issue and expiry times and a kWh tariff. Data is fetched from IEC every hour, though IEC may publish readings with a delay of up to two days. It also works for customers of a private electric company, but invoices then show a balance of zero. With a meter that is not smart, only a subset of sensors based on invoice information is available. Setup happens in the UI with a user ID and a one-time passcode, and a debugging action returns the coordinator data.
