About

Energy tariff is an integration that monitors Norwegian grid tariff levels and energy use in Home Assistant. It adds sensors for energy used so far in the current hour and an estimate of total use for that hour, calculated from consumed energy and current power. If grid capacity levels are configured, extra sensors are added to help stay under a chosen level. Level prices can be plain numbers or templates that follow another sensor or helper, and a failed template is skipped for that cycle with an error logged. A meter reader for total household power, such as one on an AMS meter, is needed, and it runs locally with setup in the YAML configuration.
