About

SNMP Printer is an integration that reads status information from network printers over SNMP. It adds sensors for printer status, page count, cover status, errors, display text and supply levels such as black, cyan, magenta and yellow toner. It runs locally and can find printers on the network by itself, or a printer can be added by IP address, scanning a network range, or entering details manually. Connection settings cover the SNMP version, community string, and for the newer version a username with authentication and privacy protocols and keys. Sensors keep the last known values while the printer is offline, so toner levels can still be read. An action can show text on the printer's screen, where the printer supports it.
