About

Healthchecks.io is an integration that updates and displays the status of checks from healthchecks.io. It pings a chosen check every 5 minutes, which lets healthchecks.io monitor whether Home Assistant is running. The other checks in the account are pulled in as binary sensors, so their statuses can be followed inside Home Assistant. It talks to the healthchecks.io cloud, and a self-hosted instance can be used instead by giving its root URL and ping endpoint path. Setup happens in the UI with an API key and the ID of the check to update.
