Red Energy

Red Energy is a Home Assistant integration that tracks daily electricity and gas usage and costs from the Australian provider Red Energy. It connects to the vendor's cloud with the account email and password, and every account on that login is added as its own device, including split electricity and gas accounts. Sensors cover consumption, cost and a diagnostic reading for each contracted tariff rate, and electricity-only sensors are left off gas accounts. Optional advanced sensors add daily and monthly averages, the highest net usage day and a usage consistency score. Options let the user pick which accounts to monitor and set the scan interval, and the data works with the Energy dashboard. Red Energy refreshes its usage data only once a day, so shorter polling intervals do not give fresher readings.
