About
TaiPower Bimonthly Energy Cost calculates the Taipower bill amount for each bimonthly period from a kWh sensor. It adds sensors to Home Assistant that show the bill total for the current period and the current price per kWh. The price sensor can be used as a separate price source in the built-in energy dashboard, so individual devices get their own cost figures. Setup in the UI asks for the energy entity and the start day of the meter period, and both can be changed later in the options. Only the non-time-of-use residential billing mode is supported, and several meter sources can be configured separately. It works locally and needs the Marketplace, or HACS on 2026.10 and older.
