About

Keenetic Router Pro is an integration that connects Keenetic routers to Home Assistant over the local network. It tracks selected devices by pinging them every 3 seconds, with an optional fallback to the router's own connection state for devices on separate subnets. It adds router sensors such as CPU load, memory usage, uptime and WAN status, plus a reboot button and a firmware update entity. Mesh extenders get their own status, reboot and firmware information, and VPN profiles and WiFi networks can be switched on and off. Per-device bandwidth limits can be set with a number control and cleared with a button, and for routers with a USB cellular modem it reports data usage and limit alarms. Setup is done in the UI, with an optional challenge authentication setting for newer models.

From the README

An advanced Home Assistant integration for Keenetic routers. Provides mesh network management, VPN control, device tracking, traffic monitoring, firmware updates, per-device bandwidth limiting, 4G/LTE data-usage tracking, and more.

  • Real-time device status via ICMP Ping. You don't need to wait Keenetic's update time for device tracking. This integration pings the devices you selected every 3 seconds.
  • Selectable client list
  • Optional update interval
  • Automatic updates on IP address changes
  • Cross-subnet fallback (optional, off by default) — for devices on isolated sub-networks (guest VLANs, IoT subnets) that Home Assistant can't ping directly, an opt-in toggle uses the router's own…
